Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in providing assistance to our service users in their own homes, requiring strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities
- Engage with service user to provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and any observations made
Requirements:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with service user and colleagues
- Ability to follow and implement support plans effectively
- Must be a car driver
- Experience working with young adults with behaviours that challenge and LD
